Manoir Montmorency, Quebec
This scientific meeting reunites all the members of the Centre de Recherche en Rhumatologie et Immunologie (CRRI) and represents a unique opportunity to exchange and discuss about ongoing research and activities taking place at the CRRI. Oral presentations and a poster session are scheduled, and the best student presentations will be rewarded. Students outside the CRRI interested to attend or participate are most welcome and are invited to register by contacting our secretary before October 17, 2008.

Dr. Pierre Borgeat, Director of our Resarch Center, received the “First Outstanding Achievement Award” from the Eicosanoid Research Foundation at its 10th International Conference, held in Montreal from Sept. 16 to 19, 2007. He has also been awarded the “Mentor Scientifique 2007” from the Club de recherches cliniques du Quebec at the 49th Annual Meeting of this Society, held at Mont-Tremblant from Sept. 20 to 22, 2007. |

The total investment of The Arthritis Society of Canada in arthritis research for 2007-2008 tops $6.3 million. At the last competition, 5 of the 18 research grants have been awarded to researchers of the CRRI: Drs. Sylvain Bourgoin, Maria Fernandes, Paul Naccache, Marc Pouliot and Jean Sévigny. Congratulations! |
